After about 9 months of idle banter, 4 of fencing, and 4 of hunting, we’ve finally got a flock of sheep up and running. As they go, three barely makes a flock, but hopefully we can add to them later on this summer.
In the last few months, as a break from marking, we’ve been north, west, and south to look at sheep for sale, going an hour and a half on a couple of occasions but eventually we bought the sheep we have from a neighbour 5 minutes away. At least it made the transportation easy, and I’ve enjoyed seeing parts of the nearby countryside that I otherwise wouldn’t have reason to visit.
